Monthly Potluck Social
Our next monthly potluck social will be held after Mass today. Please bring a dish to share! Crockpots welcome! A good rule of thumb is to bring twice as much food as is typically required to feed your own family.
Volunteers Needed for Prayer Vigil
September 28 – November 6
You may have heard that Planned Parenthood reopened it doors here in Lancaster, and to add insult to injury they opened their offices at the site of the former Abbey Catholic Book and Gift Shop on Manor Avenue, which is just a few doors down from A Woman’s Concern! They are providing the morning after pill, via telehealth, even to minors without parental consent. In addition, they plan to provide chemical abortions up to 11 weeks, by the end of this month, and as usual, they provide abortion referrals for up to 24 weeks gestation to Reading and Harrisburg. We cannot stand by and let this happen! A member of our community, Yvette Freeman, has partnered with the national 40 Days for Life to lead a vigil here in Lancaster. The campaign starts in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS and we need volunteers to PRAY outside their offices. Please consider participating in this beautiful witness of love, hope and prayer!
Volunteers are needed to fill 1 hour time slots from 7am-7pm, 7 days a week. Sign up here: https://www.40daysforlife.com/en/lancaster
