Our next monthly potluck social will be held after Mass on Sunday, August 23rd. Please bring a dish to share! Crockpots welcome! A good rule of thumb is to bring twice as much food as is typically required to feed your own family.
Lost and Found
A lime-green bowl with a lid was left behind at a recent potluck. If it is yours, please let us know. It will be available to pick up at our next potluck on August 23rd.
Save the Date for the Next Confraternity Meeting
When: Saturday, August 8th
8 AM-1 PM (Eastern time)
Where: Holy Family Chapel and Assumption Hall, both at Historic St. Mary’s Church, 32 West Vine Street, Lancaster
Schedule:
8 AM Holy Mass and thanksgiving (Rosary and Confessions beginning at 7:35)
9-10 AM Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Confessions
10 AM Benediction
10:15 AM Conference in Assumption Hall
11:15ish AM Potluck brunch
At the end of lunch, there will be a recital of classical and baroque music on the violin and lute.
Parking Notice for August 9th
On Sunday, August 9 at 3:30 pm, Fr. Deogratias Rwegasira, priest in residence at St. Joseph’s, will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood and high attendance and difficulty parking are anticipated. As such, the parish kindly asks that Latin Mass attendees be prompt in their departure that day. Additional free parking is available every Sunday at Wonder Academy, which is a brief 3-minute walk from the church.
