We are grateful to God that our weekly Friday morning Mass has been well-supported by our community for nearly a year; however, a program for homeschoolers at St. Lawrence Chapel in Harrisburg (FSSP) begins every Friday in September and will draw nearly all our altar servers and their families. To ensure that our weekly mass remains well-attended, a change was advisable.
Effective Wednesday, Sept 11, the weekday Mass formerly celebrated every Friday will move to Wednesday mornings at 8 a.m. (note new time is 15 minutes earlier) EXCEPT for First Friday, which will remain unchanged at 8:15 a.m. The Wednesday Mass on weeks that include a First Friday will be transferred to the First Friday. The schedule beginning Sept 6 is as follows:
Sept 6 – First Friday
Sept 11 – Wednesday
Sept 18 – Wednesday
Sept 25 – Wednesday
Sundays: 12:45-1:15 p.m.
Wednesdays: 7:30 a.m.-7:55 a.m.
First Fridays: 7:30-8:10 a.m.
Subject to availability, Fr. Olkowski will plan hear confessions every Friday morning beginning at 8 a.m. He will typically be able to keep to this schedule unless he has a pastoral conflict. Please be understanding on those rare occasions when he arrives too late to hear confessions due to covering an earlier Mass.
Rosary prayed 1 p.m. every Sunday
