Books at the Entrance to the Church
On the table when you enter the church, you see three different books: the red Latin-English Missal, the Adoremus hymnal, and the Parish Book of Chant (PBC). If you would like to sing along with the choir during Mass, the guide to the numbers on the hymnal boards are as follows: numbers alone give the hymn number from the Adoremus hymnal. The Mass number and Credo number (given in Roman numerals) are taken from the PBC. Just go to the table of contents in the PBC, find the Mass and Credo listed, and it will direct you to the correct page. If the board lists a hymn number preceded by PBC, it is found in the PBC. The PBC also contains the order of the Mass. The Extraordinary Form starts with the Asperges Me on page 34.
Benediction
Please join us today for Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament which will be offered immediately at the conclusion of Holy Mass. Benediction will be offered on the third Sunday of each month.
Fr. Olkowski Pilgrimage
Fr. Olkowski will be on pilgrimage to the Holy Land from November 16 to November 30. There WILL be 8:00am Weekday Low Mass this Wednesday, November 20, but NOT on November 27. Please keep Father in your prayers as he embarks on his pilgrimage.
