St. Joseph the Worker (May 1, 2022)

Pontifical Mass with Bishop Ronald W. Gainer

Madonna and Child

Bishop Ronald W. Gainer of the Harrisburg Diocese will be joining us for a Pontifical Mass today, May 1. A potluck reception will follow. Please bring a dish to share!  Crockpots welcome!  A good rule of thumb is to bring twice as much food as is typically required to feed your own family.

Adorers Needed

We are gradually returning to having Perpetual Adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist here at Saint Joseph.  We currently have ongoing Adoration both during the day and throughout the night on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There are still open hours in need of a second adorer.
There is no Adoration

on Tuesdays and Thursdays until we have

sufficient committed adorers.

Please kindly consider committing to a time slot to spend this special time with Christ in prayer.

For Security purposes the chapel doors are locked. Access to the chapel is only available via use of a chapel key fob. Those desiring time in the Adoration Chapel who do not have a key fob, please call the rectory 717.397.6921 x213 and leave a message.

Please Join in Singing

Going forward, we will be using both the Adoremus and Credo hymnals.  Please refer to the hymn boards for which hymnal we will be using on a given week: AD is for the Adoremus Hymnal and CR is for the Credo Hymnal.  The black Credo hymnals are in the pews and the red Adoremus hymnals are located on the bookshelf in the Communications Center located in the left rear of the church just to the left of the statue of the Pietá.  Pick one up as you enter the church and join in singing!
