If you are between the ages of 18 and 35, the Latin Mass young adults’ group meets every Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 pm for a Holy Hour in the adoration chapel followed by a social with food and drinks next door. Every second Wednesday of the month there will be a designated topic for discussion. For more information contact Christin Miller at [email protected] or (704) 425-4177 or Patrick Morgan at [email protected] or (717) 823-3481.

Statue for Garden at the Carmelite Monastery

Help us purchase an outdoor statue of the Holy Family that will be placed in the garden at the Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph in Fairfield when the ladies take their pilgrimage there on September 14th.  The cost of the statue is approximately $130. Any contribution large or small will help us leave a little piece of our Lancaster Latin Mass Community at the monastery! Look for the donation basket at the monthly potluck social this afternoon.  Thank you!

Invitation to Pontifical Mass with Priestly Ordination

You are cordially invited to attend a Solemn Pontifical Mass at the Throne with Priestly Ordination celebrated by His Eminence, Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke on Saturday, August 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Harrisburg, PA for the Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a traditional Roman Catholic religious community reviving the ancient eremitical Carmelite charism and a strict religious observance of the primitive Carmelite Rule. This spiritually powerful occasion and exceptionally beautiful liturgy will be a rich opportunity for all to see a traditional priestly ordination and assist at a Solemn Pontifical Mass of Cardinal Burke. For more information and details please see the link in tomorrow’s newsletter.
