The regularly scheduled social for the first Sunday in November has been moved a week earlier to October 27 for Bishop Gainer’s Confirmation Mass. Please join us after Mass in the Msgr. Thomas H. Smith Social Hall. There will be no social in November.

Rosary Coast to Coast Sunday

The Holy Rosary will be recited TODAY(Sunday afternoon) at 4pm in front of St. Joseph Church, as a participation with the Rosary Coast To Coast, being promoted by Fr. Richard Heilman of Roman Catholic Man. Catholics from across the country will simultaneously pray the Glorious Mysteries for our nation and the Church. Please arrive early, as prayers begin promptly at 4:00.

Weekday Low Mass

Please note that there will NOT be a Weekday Low Mass this week due to the Diocesan Priest Retreat. 

Day of Recollection

All women ages 18 and up, married or unmarried, are invited to a Day of Recollection with Fr. Joseph Tuscan on Saturday, October 26th. Please see our newsletter for more information. 

Baby Bottle Blessings

Baby bottles will be available as you leave TODAY to support the compassionate work of A Woman’s Concern. Please return to the basket at the Blessed Virgin Mary Altar by the weekend of October 26-27. 

40 Hours Eucharistic Devotions on October 20-22, 7:00 P.M.

Fr. Jim Szobonya CSsR, Parochial Vicar-Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish will be our homilist. Adoration sign-up sheets are posted outside Fr. Wolfe’s confessional.

Letter from the Bishop & Survey Bulletin Insert

Restoring Catholic Trust, LLC, an independent group of laity in the Diocese of Harrisburg, recently established an Independent Laity Advisory Council, which is independent of the Diocese. This Council has developed a brief survey which accompanies a letter from Bishop Gainer and is in the bulletin this weekend. Please take the time to review. All surveys should be completed by November 1st.
